Balkaur Singh and Charan Kaur, the grieving parents of the late Punjabi sensation Subhdeep Singh Sidhu, fondly remembered as Sidhu Moose Wala, have been blessed with a newborn boy. The joyous news comes almost 22 months after the tragic demise of the beloved singer, who left an indelible mark on the Punjabi music scene.
Balkaur Singh proudly shared the news of his grandson’s arrival on social media platforms, alongside a touching portrait of Moose Wala, keeping the memory of the iconic artist alive. “With the blessings of the lakhs and crores who love Subhdeep, Akal Purakh (Almighty) has given us a younger brother for Shubh,” he expressed on Instagram. The outpouring of love and support from fans and well-wishers has been overwhelming for the family, for which they are deeply grateful.
Chamkaur Singh, Moose Wala’s uncle, expressed the family’s elation, stating, “The family is very happy. God has blessed us with happiness.” The arrival of the new addition has undoubtedly brought a ray of hope and joy into their lives, amid the lingering grief of losing Moose Wala.
Reports indicate that the late singer’s mother underwent in vitro fertilization (IVF) to conceive the baby, highlighting the lengths to which the family went to embrace this newfound happiness.
The tragic loss of Moose Wala, who was fatally shot by assailants in Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29, 2022, sent shockwaves across the music industry and his legion of fans worldwide. The subsequent investigations into his murder revealed a complex web of gang rivalry, with Moose Wala becoming a victim of escalating violence between rival factions.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) assigned to probe Moose Wala’s murder has diligently pursued justice, filing four chargesheets against 34 accused individuals, including Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria.
Despite the arrests of 29 suspects, the pursuit of justice has been fraught with challenges. Tragically, two accused, Mandeep Singh and Manmohan Singh, met their demise during a violent clash in Goindwal jail earlier this year. Furthermore, three key suspects, including Goldy Brar, Anmol Bishnoi, and Lipin Nehra, remain at large and are believed to have fled abroad, evading law enforcement.
Additionally, two of Moose Wala’s alleged shooters, Manpreet Singh Mannu and Jagroop Singh Roopa, were met with a fatal end in a police encounter in Amritsar prior to the filing of chargesheets, further complicating the pursuit of justice in the case.
As Moose Wala’s family celebrates the arrival of their newest member, their journey towards healing and closure continues. The birth of their grandson serves as a poignant reminder of Moose Wala’s enduring legacy, immortalized through his music and the love of his devoted fans. While the wheels of justice turn slowly, the unwavering support of Moose Wala’s fanbase remains a source of strength for his family as they navigate through this challenging chapter of their lives.
